About the Course

This class focuses on essential home economics skills that prepare them for everyday life with confidence and independence.


Course Highlights:


Introduction to Home Economics:

  • Understanding the importance of home economics and its role in managing a household effectively.

  • Exploring the core life skills necessary for personal and family well-being.


Cooking and Meal Planning:

  • Learning to plan balanced meals and prepare simple, nutritious recipes.

  • Gaining hands-on experience with cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen organization.


Advanced Cleaning and Organization:

  • Mastering more detailed cleaning tasks and strategies for maintaining an organized living space.


Laundry Skills:

  • Understanding the process of sorting, washing, drying, and folding clothes.

  • Learning about fabric care, laundry symbols, and handling different types of laundry.


Personal Finance Basics:

  • Engaging in activities such as creating a simple budget and understanding the value of saving and spending wisely.


Home Maintenance:

  • Learning basic home maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep.


Health and Hygiene:

  • Understanding the role of nutrition, exercise, and relaxation in maintaining overall health.


Grocery Shopping Skills:
