Intro to Communications: Fun Ways to Communicate with Friends

About the Course

This class is dedicated to teaching our Buds the essential skills of interpersonal communication in a fun and supportive environment, helping them build strong, healthy relationships with their friends.


Course Highlights:


Understanding Communication:

  • Introducing the basics of communication and why it’s important.

  • Exploring different ways people communicate, including verbal and non-verbal communication.


Active Listening:

  • Teaching the importance of listening and how to be an active listener.

  • Practicing listening skills through fun games and activities.


Expressing Feelings:

  • Learning how to identify and express emotions in a healthy way.

  • Using role-playing and creative activities to practice sharing feelings with friends.


Conflict Resolution:

  • Teaching strategies for resolving conflicts and disagreements with friends.


Building Empathy:

  • Understanding the concept of empathy and how to be a supportive friend.

  • Engaging in activities that promote empathy and understanding.


Positive Communication:

  • Encouraging positive and respectful ways to talk to friends.

  • Learning about compliments, encouragement, and constructive feedback.


Group Activities and Teamwork:

  • Participating in group activities that require cooperation and communication.

  • Building teamwork skills and learning how to work effectively with others.


Creative Expression:

  • Using art, music, and drama to explore different ways of communicating.

  • Encouraging Buds to express themselves creatively and understand others’ perspectives.


By the end of this course, our Buds will have a solid foundation in communication, helping them build and maintain strong, healthy dialog with those around them.
